great work!

usually i like to favorite songs like this that have a atmosphere to them
so i can use them in movies. If I can change a couple things though it would be the congo drums coming in a bit too strong ,but not much at all, and also the ending...it just ends out of nowhere! there is so much potential like mabye a soothing chord progression that silently fades or something like that but i like it just as it is now and if you decide to add changes to it thats your option. very good job

magumanu responds:

I agree with you that the ending had many different awesome possibility's. Ah well, maybe next time.

wow!

i NEVER listen to video game music but since you made it I had to check it out and what a suprise! i found that it was really realistic and chill with all the effects like the birds and strings which always should belong in a moving song such as this. Ill make sure to tune into more of your songs!

DJMyke responds:

Haha, thanks. It seems this is my most popular song, or the one with the most downloads anyway, I really had fun making this, as it really reflected the inner me, the 3 C's. Cool, Calm, and Collected. It also isn't my usual style either, so its always fun to try new things.
Thanks 4 the review and for the compliments.

good first try

although it really doesnt grasp the hip hop feel to it
sounds more like chill electric funk
but the beat is good
keep trying

Xorberax responds:

What I don't get is why you think everything sounds different than what the real genre is... Next time you review just review the song, k? I will make sure the genre is misc so I don't get judged by the genre I put in.

i just like it

also i think another cool name for this would be tech rain
but other than that you got some skills, lead got me jumping in my seat alittle which rarely happens with new songs anymore so well done sir

Profess0rFury responds:

Thanks very much man! Really means a lot =)

Curious to see this done

The build up has a nice flow to it but the end didn't really have that much of a climax feel to it. Instead of switching from the piano to the pluck at :28, you should do an envelope from the piano to a saw rave sorta synth and then lead that to a better climax. well, that's my style but feel free to do whatever you want. hope to help.

Endeavour responds:

ooh ! thats a very good idea.
Changing the piano to a saw synth, !
Im going to try that for sure mate !
hang on xD

Endeavour.

simple and relaxing

why cant most guitar songs be like this?
it sounds alot fresher with just a slow clean
melody like this. good work

eewawoowa responds:

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it :)

Most guitar songs aren't like this because the guitar as an instrument is able to do SO much more. My guitar in particular (Fender Lite Ash Telecaster, seen on my CD icon and profile photo) is able to play in any style you'd care to mention and just sound like it belongs, as it has one pickup that gives a sharp, clean sound, and another that gives a thicker, blunter kind of sound. These can each be used on their own or combined to give any sound you want, and the master tone control adds another dimension to the sound to further diversify.

Check back soon for more, I'm planning to cover as many genres as I can mainly to prove not only my own genre diversity but also my instrument's.

i could rock this techno

this sounds like one of those little tunes i hum
because the beat is catchy and you brought that to life!
so alright! also how do you get that lead sound from 0:36 on?!

DanceNation responds:

nexus?

great song choice!

Ive been listening to this song for a couple years now.
and I love it and to see you making a remix makes me very happy
and i think you should continue...BUT!! this doesnt seem like a remix to me.
i mean sure a remix is a remix but you should really add more of your own spin to it and not just change the synths. hopefully when your done ill be listening to this song for years also.

DjSc00p responds:

heheh yeah, but right now my computer is just a mess...i cant do much with it so ill be making songs and such when i get a new one...whenever that may be D:

alright!

I like that smooth jazz feel with the nice piano
resubmit this under jazz and mabye youll get more views
also take of some of the end becausethe silence is too long
other than that you got a great song

Gebz responds:

Thanks for the comment, I was hoping people would like this as much as I like playing it. And the silence is drawn out because I wanted to wait until it got completely silent before ending it. With my headphones there is still a slight resonance until the last second that, in my opinion, adds to the effect. Even though you can't hear it most of the time. Oh well.

awesome violins

I see this more as a boss encounter
a battle theme would have a fast beat
but I like it so your doing great
also what vst do you use becaused im
desperatly needing some new sounds

SFaPiL2 responds:

True. I'll probably extend this to introduce a fast paced section... the real problem is trying to make it loop well.

The VST I'm using is NEXUS. It has a large set of quality sounds to use.

Thanks for passing by ^__^.

what to say...I make music and i only hope to leave good comments and marks so you know Im a good person..all my songs are made with FL: studio XXL now and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
